Under the DESINTEC® brand we offer a variety of innovative solutions and products to support the effective hygiene management of modern animal farming, including animal hygiene, hoof care products, insect and pest control solutions (flies, mites, beetles), stall & shed hygiene and cleaning and disinfection products.
Red fowl mites are a serious threat to avian and poultry environments and can transmit various diseases, but CARBOCRAFT, in association with PROFUMA AGRAVIS, actively combats this threat through the application of a 100% natural and highly effective biocide available under the name DESINTEC® M-Ex Profi 80. Our M-Ex Profi 80 brings about a physical adsorption of lipids from the insects’ epicuticula. The wax layer that protects the creatures from dehydration is physically destroyed and the pest/insects being thus combated eventually dehydrate and dry out completely naturally. High relative air humidity levels of 90% that typically occur in chicken coops do not adversely affect the effectiveness of our product and this has the advantage that parasites which do not pupate or emerge from their eggs until weeks later, are also killed off equally effectively.
CRYSTALYX provides an energy-rich supplement of forage-based rations for cattle, sheep, goatsand fallow deer in a very tasty and simple form for licking. The use of CRYSTALYX improves the digestibility of the forage and increases the total feed intake by up to 10%. This results in a very efficient increase of the total energy intake suitable for ruminants.
PICKBLOCK is an innovative feed block designed for poultry to peck. It supports the natural behaviour of rearing laying hens and broilers. Produced using high-quality cereals and minerals, PICKBLOCK offers poultry a destructible and ingestible form of stimulation that effectively limits abnormal behaviour such as feather pecking and cannibalism. Manufactured under pressure and without the need for chemical hardening agents, the compact firm structure of PICKBLOCK ensures optimum, sustainable preoccupation of poultry.
With the MEGALIX® product range, we offer you all the options to meet your animals’ different requirements and provide them with the most important minerals and vitamins. The matching products can be selected according to specific requirements. MEGALIX® is a chemical licking block which is additionally available as “private label” products.
- Our brand MIRAVIT® boasts a wide range of supplementary feeds, developed for special situations in the life of cattle, poultry, swine, sheep and goats. The products and concepts are results of our longstanding experience and have been developed by our team in close collaboration with our customers and scientific institutions. The main idea of our MIRAVIT® concept is to support the immune system of your animals by offering them preventive and supportive supplementary feeds. They are administered in critical periods of life (e.g. before or after birth, heat stress, other stressful situations, health problems) and to improve the overall performance, e.g. by supporting the gut health, increasing the feed intake. JELUVET® CRUDE FIBRE FOR PIGS AND POULTRY
Under the brand JELUVET®, we supply a complete range of 100% natural lignocellulose crude fibre, available in fine powder, as well as fine and coarse granulates, depending on the application. Our JELUVET® crude fibres comprise a combination of soluble and insoluble dietary fibre, are extremely low in phosphorous and other undesirable nutrients, and are completely free of mycotoxins. Our JELUVET® crude fibre is classified as “straight feed” as per the feed-approved positive list of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) and is manufactured from controlled and highly pure natural plant raw materials using a HACCP-certified process and in accordance with the highest quality standards e.g. GMP, ISO, IFS, FSSC, etc.
In pigs, JELUVET® crude fibre prolongs the feeling of satiety, accelerates the intestinal passage and prevents constipation. The reproduction capacity of sows is significantly improved, and piglets generally show more vitality and are far less susceptible to diarrhoea. The relation of calcium and phosphorus in the feed is essential for preventing MMA (mastitis, metritis, agalaktie) in sows. JELUVET® contains especially low levels of nutrients and hardly affects the proportion of the minerals in the sow feed, therefore naturally serving the effective prophylaxis of MMA.
Research has shown that mycotoxins cause stillbirths, miscarriages, and fertility disorders in pigs. As JELUVET® is completely free of mycotoxins, JELUVET® crude fibre eliminates the risk of mycotoxins being added to the feed ration.
JELUVET® is applied very easily by simply adding it to the complete feed mix for sows. Adding 2 – 3% JELUVET® crude fibre is sufficient to achieve the recommended dosage amount of crude fibre per sow, that is required for efficient pig farming. With JELUVET®, the crude fibre content in compound feed is easily “standardisable” without adding any undesirable nutrient content to the ration.
In poultry, JELUVET® crude fibre generally improves the rate of bird fattening through enhanced feed conversion ratios and increased nutrient uptake and better digestibility of single ingredients, thereby improving average daily weight gains.
Due to its high water-binding capacity of 400-500%, JELUVET® crude fibre increases the volume in the gastrointestinal tract of birds, which induces peristaltic action and increases satiety which in turn generally helps to reduce behavioural disorders in chickens.
JELUVET® crude fibre improves the faeces consistency in chickens, leading to a significantly lowered litter moisture and sulphur content in the coops/pens, which leads directly to a marked reduction in footpad lesions seen in the birds and greatly supports and improves general foot pad health.
JELUVET® crude fibre helps to reduce behavioural disorders in chickens, particularly the incidence of feather picking and generally brings about a calm and healthy flock.
JELUVET® is dosed very easily by simply adding it to the feed. A dosage of 0.3% to 0.9% can already substantially improve daily gains in broiler fattening, and for layers, we recommend an addition of merely 1% of the ration, which will already bring about significant benefits to the flock.
